"The Roy" & "The Maddie" are inspired by my wife, Neanna, whose name is derived from the Neanthe Bella Palm, and her deep love of gardening and all things flora. All of the plants at our home are named, and it’s a veritable jungle. We may spend a lot of time in the desert, but the lush garden in and around our house is inevitably what we come home to.
